Mammillaria krasuckae - type locality Reforma, Oaxaca, Mexico, REP 1647.
Body: Simple, globose to elongate, 35-80mm high x 35-60mm wide. Tubercles: Conic, 6-8mm long and wide, green, with watery sap. Axils: With wool and hairs.
Central spines: 4-6, 6-25mm long, acicular, lower longest and mostly hooked, yellow to brown to black.
Radial spines: 26-32, 2-4mm long, stiff, bristle like, uppers shortest, straight, smooth, horizontal, white.
Flowers: 18-20mm long and wide, pinkish carmine with a darker mid-stripe.
Fruit: 10-20mm long x 4-6mm wide, green/white/pink shades. Seeds: Brown.
Reppenhagen compares this species with M. rekoi. In the Reppenhagen field number book this collection was referred to as M. mitlensis.
