Molto vicina, se non identica a Mammillaria perbella.
Di lei qualche traccia dal "Journal" in edizioni poco successive al 1960.

Craig nel suo Handbook la colloca come nome commerciale..
Body: Simple, clavate to short cylindric, slightly sunken at apex, 4.5cm. high, 3 cm. wide, somewhat tap rooted.
Tubercles: Firm in texture, dull green with small white spots as seen undera lens, conic, with milky sap, 3 mm. long, 3 mm. wide at base.
Areoles: Oval, pale tan wool in youth, later becoming naked.
Axils: Few short white bristles (approx. 1 mm. long, no wool).
Central spiness 4 - 5 , 3 - 5 mm. uppermost slightly longer, all acicular, all straight, smooth, stiff, white at base passing to chestnut brown with dark brown tip when young, later becoming horn coloured with dark tip, divergent.
Radial spines: 20 - 23, 2 mm. long, uppers somewhat shorter, all straight, bristle-like, smooth, white; radiating star-like, horizontal.
Flowers and fruit: Unknown.
